Take a tour with one of our experts on Kigali

Our city tours are designed to give you the authentic experience eploring the secret places of Kigali. You will be imersed in the Rwandan culture and given the opportunity to interact with the locals.

Starting the tour, we will lead you into one of the bustling traditional markets. You will be able to explore the many stalls and get a feel  for the lively atmosphere.  We will then take you to some of the highest vue points overlooking Nyarutama, the oldest part of Kigali. Here you will have the opportunity to take photos of this vibrant part of town. If possible, you will also be given a short tour of the local mosque complex.

We will then stop for a short break at a nearby milk shop where you can try the heavenly taste of chilled ikivuguto, a traditional Rwandan beverage, and a simple cake.

Later, expect to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or a strong ginger tea at a popular local spot.  Whether  morning, afternoon, or evening, this down-to-earth spot is always full of people chatting, laughing and enjoying one another’s company.  You will be warmly welcomed to join the discussion exposing local customs and allowing you to learn a few more kinyarwandan words. This unique place is also known for its entertainment, where musicians, singers and even acrobats  come to entertain the  locals drinking their coffee or tea.

Later on,  will share lunch at a local restaurant alowing you to taste the delicious Rwandan cuisine.

To end our tour, we will take you to our base, where you can learn how to weave a traditional Rwandan basket, which you can then take home with you. We will serve you a cup of coffee or tea, while you are weaving.
